Digital library
DSFC is building a digital library for space food-system research.
The library will collect reports, scientific papers, technical documents, standards, challenge outputs, datasets, and other material relevant to future food systems for long-duration missions.
The first version will focus on making existing material easier to find and use. More resources, tags, and search functions will be added over time.
Scientific papers
Peer-reviewed articles on space food systems, crop production, nutrition, food safety, processing, storage, waste management, life-support integration, and related fields.
Agency and technical reports
Reports from space agencies, research institutions, and technical programmes that define requirements, assumptions, risks, gaps, or design constraints.
Standards and guidance documents
Documents relevant to crew health, food safety, human factors, system engineering, life support, testing, verification, and mission planning.
Challenge and programme outputs
Public material from space food challenges, roadmapping activities, workshops, demonstrators, analogue campaigns, and technology programmes.
Datasets and tools
Open datasets, models, calculators, tables, and other resources that can support analysis, comparison, or system design.
Submit a resource
DSFC will accept suggestions for resources to include in the library.
Submitted resources will be reviewed before they are added. The library is intended to remain curated, so not every submitted item will be included.
Submit a resource if it is relevant to space food systems, analogue testing, closed-loop food production, post-harvest handling, processing, storage, food safety, nutrition, waste management, life support, human factors, or mission planning.
